I used this site mostly as a sandbox ... and because I didn't want to be sued. In the early web days, celebrities were suing
anyone who parked domains based on their name, so I put legit content on it to be safe. That was a great decision because it ended up being the best way to keep up with web development and design trends .
The site underwent many revisions over the years, so you're seeing only the final version below. The top bar is Flash with multiple rollover effects (which, sadly you cannot see here - thanks Adobe), a live local clock, the date and a Google site search feature. The side nav and homepage content area show the many features the site incorporated including e-Cards you could send to friends, random MJH quotes, a message board/forum, news updates and polls. At its peak, I had about nine domains pointing to the site, including MJHFanClub.com and SabrinaFanClub.com.
People often laugh when they discover I made this site, but it helped me get work, had a lot of traffic (it was duplicated many times, which is why I have such a long disclaimer) and won several web awards.
Sadly, a couple years after I'd stopped updating the site, Russian hackers used its older scripts to hack into the server and I had to take this site - along with several others - down to prevent server worms from generating shady passthrough pages and sending spam.
