I was in charge of all of Zoo's social media accounts - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn - for a while, helping to increase followers and engagement. At indiePub and Apostrophe Apps, I created and managed all the social media accounts. After my responsibilities grew so that I wasn't actively posting as often, I'd create a social media calendar/plan that my wonderful assistants would execute. We primarily used Facebook and Twitter those years, supporting those with YouTube videos and occasional Instagram posts. For a short while, we also posted to Vine and Google+ (my assistant was especially good at creating Vines) until those were no longer relevant.

(I'd love to share more than these few Facebook examples but a lot of the accounts and posts were purged after the companies closed. A few accounts were eventually hacked - mostly Twitter - resulting in a glut of Russian spam, forcing the accounts to be locked so I cannot even access the logs. Also, images are no longer rendering - thanks to Facebook and other sites' changes - making it impossible to gather concrete analytics.)

While Editor-in-Chief at GamerTell, I'd created our Twitter and Facebook accounts, posting pretty regularly there and on a few game-specific sites to promote our articles and reviews. These helped, at least in part, to grow the site to more than 250,000 regular users. The parent company eventually took over those accounts, automating posts (and essentially killing the following I'd established).

At Frontgate, another team managed the social media accounts, but I was occasionally asked to help draft copy for some of the more unique and engaging posts.
