Hungry GOWs came to us through an indie developer and didn't have much of a story. (Why
are the GOWs so hungry? Where did they come from?!) I wrote a short story to set up the premise - illustrated by our in-house artist, Art Vogt - and wrote a biography for each type of GOW to match their in-game abilities. The longer-term plan was to continue expanding the story to include new planets and GOWs.
